Graham Packaging Company in Prattville, AL is seeking a Machine Operator I for the NIGHT SHIFT (6:48pm-7:00am on a 2/2/3 schedule with every other weekend). Weekly pay starts at $19.60 per hour with an additional $1.00 shift differential for night shifts.

Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, and a 401(k) with match. The operator will run plastic blow molding machines and perform related setup and maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate a group of plastic blow molding machines and auxiliary equipment to produce containers safely and with high quality.
• Perform mold, insert, and color changes on the line and adjust machines for efficiency.
• Conduct basic processing of injection and blow molding machines to improve efficiency and reduce scrap.
• Perform preventative maintenance and assist maintenance staff as needed.
• Monitor resin, dryer, material handling, and color systems for proper conditions.
• Provide on-time quality checks and document results.
