Job summary

Graham Packaging Company is seeking a Machine Operator for the Prattville, AL facility on 2nd shift (2:30 PM–11:00 PM, Mon–Fri). The role operates high-speed manufacturing equipment and requires forklift certification plus lock-out/tag-out readiness.

Weekly pay starts at $19.60 per hour, with immediate medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefits. The Operator will run plastic blow molding machines, ensure product quality, perform basic adjustments, and support maintenance teams as needed.

Qualifications

• Regular, predictable attendance required.
• Computer usage and typing skills are essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with internal and external customers.
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion.

Responsibilities

• Follow established safety, health, quality GMP and company policies.
• Operate a group of plastic blow molding machines and auxiliary equipment to produce containers safely and with high quality.
• Perform basic processing adjustments and minor repairs to improve efficiency.
• Perform mold, insert and color changes on the line.
• Assist in preventative maintenance and keep work area clean and organized.
• Coordinate with production supervisor to ensure line objectives are met.
