Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. in Cleveland, OH is hiring a Plastic Injector to operate a plastic injection machine and produce diverse parts. You will ensure piece quality and present the first piece for each setup, adjusting cycle, temperature, pressure and feeder settings as needed.

Looking for at least a high school diploma/GED with 1 year of injection-molding experience or general manufacturing know-how. On-site role with shift from 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., competitive wages and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of plastic injection machine operation experience preferred.
• General manufacturing experience.
• Ability to work and communicate as part of a cell team.

Responsibilities

• Operate a plastic injection machine to produce parts.
• Ensure quality of parts produced.
• Show first piece to supervisor for each setup.
• Set process parameters (cycle, temperature, pressure, weigh feeder).
• Notify supervisor or Manufacturing Manager of setup or operation issues.
• Visually inspect parts for defects.
