Graham Packaging Company is seeking a Machine Operator based in York, PA. This night shift position runs 7pm to 7am on a 2/2/3 rotating schedule, including every other weekend.

Weekly pay starts at $24.20 per hour with a $3.00 night shift differential and benefits (medical, dental, vision, and 401k with match) starting on day one. Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in manufacturing.
• Interacts effectively with managers, employees, vendors and customers.
• Regular, predictable attendance is required.
• Computer usage and typing skills are essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and complete assignments per instructions.
• Collaborates well with others and proactively contributes to team objectives.

Responsabilités

• Operate a group of plastic blow molding machines and auxiliary equipment producing a container in a safe and high quality method.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement projects and other related activities as assigned.
• Perform mold, insert and color changes on the line.
• Perform basic processing of injection and/or blow molding machines to improve machine efficiency and reduce scrap.
• Assist in maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Complete and file all required documentation in an orderly and timely manner.
• Communicate with the Production Shift Supervisor to coordinate production line support staff.
• Verify material usage per standards and perform minor troubleshooting on the line.
