Job summary

Graham Packaging Company is seeking a Machine Operator II for a 12-hour night shift in West Hazleton, PA. The role includes operating plastic blow molding machines, performing adjustments, and maintaining safety and quality standards on the line.

You will support the team in color/mold changes and routine preventive maintenance. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in manufacturing, strong communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years in manufacturing required.
• Must be able to interact with managers, employees, vendors, and customers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
• Communicates effectively: conveys facts and information clearly both verbally and orally.
• Collaborates well with others: proactively contributes to group objectives; volunteers to help others.

Responsibilities

• Operate and adjust plastic blow molding machines safely and efficiently.
• Perform basic processing and maintenance to improve machine efficiency.
• Support line with color changes, mold changes, and quality checks.
• Complete documentation and report issues to supervisors.
• Assist in training new Operators.
