Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years in utilities, industrial maintenance, facilities operations or related field.
• Experience with boilers, chillers, HVAC, pumps, piping, electrical systems or automation controls.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals, P&IDs, schematics and equipment drawings.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and CMMS software.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and corrective repairs on plant utility equipment including boilers, HVAC systems, air compressors, pumps, piping and water systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve utility equipment issues to ensure safe, reliable operation.
• Carry out maintenance on mechanical, pneumatic, hydronic and rotating equipment.
• Support operation of steam, chilled water, potable water, wastewater, and compressed air systems.
• Respond to alarms and malfunctions; implement timely corrective actions to restore function.
• Fabricate, install and maintain piping for steam, hot water, cooling, lubrication and sprinklers.
• Conduct welding and fabrication as needed for new equipment or modifications.
• Interpret manuals, schematics, blueprints and P&IDs to support installation and maintenance.
