Job summary

Eco Material Technologies is seeking a Plant Operator to support grinding, material handling, and pollution control processes on site. Your mechanical, electrical, and process skills will help keep the plant running safely and efficiently.

The role requires a high school diploma, at least 1 year of experience in a relevant field, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. This position offers a pathway to growth within a large international organization.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Driver's license required.
• At least 1 year of experience in a relevant field.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Promote safe work habits to help create a zero-injury safety culture.
• Assists with plant operations, specifically Vertical Roller Mill and associated process equipment, follow written, verbal or diagram instructions.
• Monitors and records daily levels of ground Bottom Ash and Fly Ash in the silos.
• Communicate with Lead Operator, Operations Manager and other line support regarding maintenance/operational issues.
• Ensure compliance with all production/quality/maintenance processes and work being performed.
• Operates small utility mobile equipment on site when required.
• Operates heavy equipment where necessary.
• Performs and/or assists with maintenance on process equipment and facilities as directed by plant management.
• Ensure housekeeping and work areas are maintained properly to meet facility standards.
• Perform mechanical/process troubleshooting.
• Read and interpret blueprints and diagrams.
• Regular attendance, timeliness and scheduling flexibility.
• Responds promptly to customer needs.
• Other duties as assigned
