Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America seeks a Control Room Operator in New Braunfels, TX. You will monitor and control plant operations from a centralized control room to ensure optimal performance and safety.

You will respond to alarms, troubleshoot equipment issues, coordinate with field personnel, and record data to support process improvements while maintaining stringent safety and environmental standards.

What You’ll Be Doing

Work Environment

Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.

Physical Demands of the Job

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed
• Manual dexterity to operate control systems and use hand tools
• Visual and auditory ability to monitor equipment and alarms
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) for extended periods
• Capability to work in physically demanding conditions, including confined spaces and elevated areas
