Job summary

Phoenix Stamping Group, LLC in Fort Wayne, IN, is seeking a Plant Mechatronics Maintenance Technologist to own preventive and diagnostic maintenance for production machinery and facility equipment, maximizing uptime and safety.

You will diagnose issues across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic domains, program and troubleshoot robots and PLCs, support automation improvements, and participate in TPM and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in industrial maintenance, a technical field, or technical schooling.
• Proven electrical and mechanical troubleshooting; automation exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of preventive and diagnostic maintenance for production machinery and facility equipment to maximize uptime and safety.
• Diagnose issues fast; interpret manuals and blueprints to execute precise fixes.
• Program and troubleshoot robots, controls, and PLCs; support automation improvements.
• Conduct TPM activities and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist with new equipment installations and upgrades.
