WM is hiring a Plant Maintenance Technician to support our facility on a 3rd shift schedule (10pm–7am) in Massachusetts. The role emphasizes safe, reliable operation of balers, conveyors, motors, pumps, and related equipment while maintaining preventive maintenance and responding quickly to breakdowns.

Compensation ranges from $29 to $40 per hour based on experience, with uniforms, PPE, extensive training, and healthcare benefits.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant work experience required
• Be over 18 years of age
• Legally eligible to work in the United States
• Ability to perform physical requirements with or without accommodations
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and physical

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and diagnose, repair, and rebuild major equipment such as balers, conveyors, motors, and pumps
• Maintain daily equipment inspections backlog and ensure safety procedures
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and work with limited supervision
• Support safe, efficient plant operations and drive continual improvement
