Job summary

Associated Materials Innovations is seeking a Plant Superintendent to lead our night shift at the window manufacturing facility in North Carolina. You will oversee production, safety, quality, staffing, and overall operational performance during the shift, coordinating with supervisors and department leaders to meet daily goals.

You will mentor supervisors and hourly staff, drive continuous improvement, and ensure safety and compliance across the plant while delivering reliable production

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing leadership experience.
• Prior experience in window, glass, or similar manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead in a fast‑paced production environment.
• Experience in managing supervisors and large employee groups.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and manufacturing best practices.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and production reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support night shift production operations across assigned departments.
• Ensure all safety policies, procedures, and housekeeping standards are followed.
• Monitor production schedules and drive performance to meet daily goals.
• Coach, mentor, and develop supervisors and hourly team members.
• Ensure quality standards are maintained and production issues are addressed promptly.
• Partner with maintenance and quality teams to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
• Conduct shift meetings and communicate plant priorities and expectations.
• Monitor attendance, staffing levels, and labor utilization.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence efforts.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Complete production reports and communicate shift updates to plant leadership.
