Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company is seeking skilled pipefitters to layout, assemble, install, and maintain piping systems and related equipment at industrial sites. Responsibilities include reading isometrics, fabricating, welding, and hydro testing under project specs and safety rules.

Candidates should have experience with hand and power tools, be capable of handling rigging, and work in varying outdoor conditions. Overtime and travel may be required for project needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; prior field experience preferred.
• Must have working knowledge and ability to read and follow written and oral instructions.
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools and layout tools.

Responsibilities

• Read isometric drawings, take measurements, fabricate and install piping efficiently.
• Align, bolt, and clamp components for welding.
• Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment by welding and threading joints.
• Position and secure materials during installation and follow plans/specifications.
• Distinguish varying thickness and types of metal materials.
• Handle and secure rigging equipment.
• Operate tools including beveling machines, grinders, hammers, torches, and drills.
• Layout and install equipment, vessels, skids, pumps, pipe, and supports.
• Hydro test piping systems.
