Qualifications

• Pipe welding certification required.
• Ability to perform welding on various materials using GTAW, SMAW, FCAW, GMAW and SAW.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of related experience.
• Basic math skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
• Overtime and weekend hours as needed.
• Experience using blueprints and design sketches.
• Certification in Pipe welding.

Responsibilities

• Welds on various materials in required positions using GTAW, SMAW, FCAW, GMAW, and SAW.
• Reads and interprets blueprints and shop orders to determine set-up and sequence.
• Lay out, position, fit and weld piping and structural components per drawings.
• Set up, troubleshoot, and operate welding machines per job specs.
• Adjust valves and gauges; handle compressed gas safely.
• Tests and inspects equipment, maintains safety and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean work area and follow ISO procedures.
