Job summary

Penn Medicine Lancaster General Hospital is seeking a part-time Phlebotomy Technician to perform venipuncture and specimen collection in inpatient and WBH settings. You will work 20 hours per week with two 8-hour night shifts and three 4-hour early morning shifts on weekdays, supporting timely lab results and patient care.

Responsibilities include accurate patient identification, sample labeling, and operating LIS systems while maintaining infection control and professionalism in high-stress

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certification as a Phlebotomist preferred.
• Basic life support knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary puncture for inpatients and outpatients.
• Ensure correct patient identification and sample labeling.
• Operate LIS and bedside testing devices as needed.
• Maintain infection control and safety protocols.
