Job summary

Sonora Quest Laboratories is seeking a phlebotomist to support night-shift operations across Hospital Facility, PSC, IOP, or MDS locations. You will perform specimen collection, labeling, data entry, and specimen preparation for analytical testing while ensuring patient safety and privacy.

The role emphasizes accuracy, regulatory compliance, and effective communication with internal teams and clients. Flexibility to cover multiple sites and shifts is expected.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy program or proven phlebotomy experience is required.
• Basic knowledge of specimen handling and patient safety.
• Ability to work night shifts and travel to multiple locations if needed.

Responsibilities

• Collect and receive biological specimens and ensure proper labeling.
• Enter patient demographics and orders accurately for processing and billing.
• Prepare samples for analytical testing and distribute to the correct area.
• Maintain quality standards and follow HIPAA and Code of Conduct.
• Work collaboratively with teams across locations and shifts.
