Job summary

Sonora Quest Laboratories/Laboratory Sciences of Arizona is seeking a full-time Phlebotomist for the evening shift (36 hours per week). The role may be based in a Hospital Facility, PSC, In Office Phlebotomy, or Mobile Diagnostic Services and may require coverage at multiple sites.

You will collect specimens, enter patient data, prepare samples for testing, and ensure proper routing of materials while maintaining HIPAA and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent may be required depending on state regulations.
• Completion of a phlebotomy program or phlebotomy experience.
• Phlebotomy certification as defined by state regulations.
• Dependent on location, valid state driver's license and auto insurance coverage.

Responsibilities

• Specimen collection with correct patient and specimen identification across age criteria.
• Enter and verify demographics, tests requested, and billing information in the system.
• Prepare samples for analytical testing and distribute to the proper area.
• Maintain quality, complete documentation, and adhere to policies and HIPAA requirements.
• Interact professionally with internal and external customers and support multiple locations.
