OhioHealth in Marion, VA is seeking a dedicated phlebotomist to join our Core Lab team. The role emphasizes phlebotomy, specimen processing, and delivering excellent patient and clinician service in a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, maintain safety standards, and participate in training and regulatory compliance, while supporting the Lab's mission of high reliability and quality care.

Formación

• Phlebotomy and specimen handling skills required.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Perform phlebotomy and specimen processing as needed.
• Provide customer service to clinicians and clients, and communicate with staff.
• Handle related computer tasks (LIS, e-Source).
• Train new employees and students.
• Adhere to regulatory compliance including OSHA, CAP, CMS, JCAHO, and related policies.
• Maintain competencies and mandatory education (ACE).
• Support safety, quality and efficiency as part of a High Reliability Organization.
