Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Phlebotomist for the Springfield regional site. You will draw quality blood samples, prepare specimens for testing, and complete clerical tasks to keep the department efficient.

Essential duties include patient greeting, accurate ID, data entry, and specimen processing. BS responsibilities require high accuracy and strong customer service, with travel to off-site locations as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Phlebotomist certification preferred but not required
• Retail/service customer experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Draw blood samples from patients accurately and safely
• Prepare specimens for lab testing and ensure proper labeling
• Enter orders, look up results, and generate reports
• Answer calls and perform clerical duties timely
• Travel to off-site locations as needed
• Maintain inventory and assist with data entry

Education

High School Degree or GED

Phlebotomist Certification (preferred)

Customer service experience (preferred)
