Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Phlebotomist for Springfield Regional Medical Center to join our Laboratory team. You will draw quality blood samples, prepare specimens for testing, and perform clerical duties to keep the department running smoothly.

Ideal candidates have HS diploma, phlebotomy experience or certification preferred, and strong patient service skills. This on-site role requires accuracy, teamwork and willingness to travel to off-site locations as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED.
• Phlebotomist Certification preferred but not required.
• One-year phlebotomy experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent patient-facing service and greeting in a respectful manner.
• Collects specimens according to established procedures and ensures proper processing.
• Performs data entry, labeling, centrifuging, and clerical duties as needed.
• Travel to off-site locations may be required.
