Responsibilities

• Demonstrates skills to dispose of bio-hazardous waste, handle difficult patient situations, use barrier precautions and maintain safety records.
• Accurately identify patients, label specimens, select venipuncture site, perform phlebotomy and ensure proper specimen handling and transport.
• Exhibits excellent communication, teamwork and customer service to work independently and with nurses and physicians.
