Responsibilities

• Accurately retrieve, count, measure, prepare, package, and label medications and non-sterile compounds.
• Operate and properly maintain packaging technology or use manual dispensing equipment to prepare cycle medications for long-term care residents.
• Comply with government regulations, standards, company policies and patient protocols.
• Assist in maintaining inventory and supplies related to work stations.
• Assist in resolving facility/patient problems under emergency conditions.
• Participate in quality improvement programs to meet standards.
