Job summary

Forum Extended Care Services is seeking a Pharmacy Cycle Fill Technician for our long-term care facilities. You will retrieve, count, measure, prepare, package, and label medications, using computerized packaging tech or manual methods, while ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Requirements include an Illinois Pharmacy Technician license, 1–2 years in pharmacy, and strong math and communication skills. Night shift, strong team culture, and growth opportunities provided.

Qualifications

• Current unencumbered Illinois Pharmacy Technician license (certification not required for pre-2008 licensed techs).
• 1–2 years of pharmacy experience preferred; long-term care or hospital setting preferred.
• Excellent math, written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Accurately retrieve, count, measure, prepare, package, and label medications and non-sterile compounds.
• Operate and maintain computerized packaging technology and/or manual dispensing equipment.
• Comply with government regulations, standards, and patient protocols; maintain inventory.
• Resolve facility/patient problems under emergency conditions; participate in quality programs.
