Job summary

SpecialtyRx, Inc. in Illinois is seeking a licensed Pharmacy Technician to support our long-term care pharmacy operations. You will work under supervision, maintain stock, prep for floor meds, package and ship medications, and help uphold compliance with policy.

This role requires an IL license, a high school diploma, reliability, and the ability to stand for long periods with light lifting. Training on first shift will be provided; shifts include daytime and overnight options.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Licensed Registered IL Pharmacy Technician required.
• Previous pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work under the direction of a supervisor.
• Experience working Controlled Drugs (Narcotics) room a plus.
• Maintains floor stock, restocking, removal of expired medications.
• Rotate stock of medication areas to assure quality controls.
• Prepack for floor bulk prescribed medications.
• Package fill and ship medications.
• Responsible for pharmacy standards, maintained and adherence policies.
• Team player and collaborate with others to support the goals of the pharmacy.
• Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor.
