Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Dallas seeks a Pharmacy Technician I, supervised by a Pharmacist, to provide pharmacy services, manage inventory, and support patient care as per Texas Board of Pharmacy regulations.

The role performs stocking, labeling, dispensing and delivery of medications, answers calls, and maintains inventory control; requires HS diploma and TX Tech license or intern license. Benefits apply; daytime/night shifts vary.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Less than 1 year of experience.
• TX Board of Pharmacy license (PHT) or PHT intern license required or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Performs stocking, preparation, labeling, dispensing and delivery of medications.
• Assists patients and staff with questions under pharmacist supervision.
• Answers incoming phone calls and directs to appropriate staff.
• Monitors inventory and assists with ordering and receiving medications and supplies.
• Maintains pharmacy records and supports quality control tasks.
• Enters medication orders from doctors’ sheets or prescriptions and ensures correct billing data.
• Resolves discrepancies and runs reports from automated dispensing systems.
• Cleans and maintains equipment and work area; sterilizes glassware.
