Job summary

Flowers Hospital is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support safe pharmaceutical care, including medication preparation, distribution, and inventory management. The role operates nights on a 7 on/7 off schedule, with potential for additional shifts to reach 80 hours.

Responsibilities include dispensing under a pharmacist's supervision, maintaining stock levels, assisting patients and staff, and ensuring documentation and compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of hospital pharmacy experience required.
• PHAR-C certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation and dispensing of medications under supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Maintain inventory levels by monitoring stock and conducting regular audits.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare staff.
• Maintain accurate records of medication orders and inventory transactions per hospital policies.
• Participate in quality assurance activities and safety compliance.
• Troubleshoot pharmacy equipment and coordinate with pharmacists.
• Communicate effectively to coordinate patient care.
