Job summary

Hy-Vee, Inc. is seeking a PFC Pharmacy Technician, Non-Certified to support the automated Central Fill Pharmacy at our Des Moines facility. You will assist pharmacists, label prescriptions, stock supplies, and maintain a clean, compliant dispensing area in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires teamwork, meticulous attention to procedures, and the ability to handle multiple tasks while following HIPAA and company guidelines. Evening and weekend shifts are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Working toward a licensed technician certification.
• Previous experience as a pharmacy clerk preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists pharmacists in accurate preparation and distribution of prescriptions.
• Prepares and affixes labels to prescription containers.
• Orders, checks-in, and stocks pharmacy supplies.
• Maintains cleanliness of pharmacy and dispensing area.
• Reports any medication errors to appropriate personnel.
• Replaces empty medication cells and brings full cells to robots.
