Job summary

Hy-Vee Inc is seeking a Pharmacy Fulfillment Certified Pharmacy Technician to support an automated Central Fill Pharmacy. You will assist pharmacists with accurate preparation and distribution of prescription medications in a fast-paced production setting.

The position requires a high school diploma, national pharmacy technician certification, and a willingness to work in night and weekend shifts. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Certified as a licensed technician through a certified national program and maintains continuing education requirements to keep license active.
Previous experience as a pharmacy technician or pharmacy clerk is preferred.

Responsibilities

Works with co-workers to follow standard operating procedures and facility policies.
Handles inquiries that do not require a pharmacist’s expertise and judgment.
Prepares and affixes labels to prescription containers.
Assists in training employees.
Maintains cleanliness of the pharmacy and dispensing area.
Reports medication errors to appropriate personnel.
Orders, checks-in, and stocks pharmacy supplies.
Operates high volume robotics and dispensing software.
