Job summary

St. Bernards Healthcare is seeking a Medication Reconciliation Pharmacy Technician for night shift (9p-7a) to independently obtain medication and allergy histories for patients admitted to the hospital.

You will interview patients and families, call local pharmacies, and input data into the system to aid physicians and care teams in planning treatment and discharge. The role includes assisting the inpatient pharmacy when time allows.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Licensed pharmacy technician in Arkansas or LPN license before duties begin.
• Techs must have national certification, acceptance into a post-graduate program, or 2+ years experience.

Responsibilities

• Obtain medication and allergy histories from patients admitted to the hospital.
• Enter information into computer systems for clinicians and care teams.
• Support the main inpatient pharmacy as needed.
