Job summary

Providence Portland Medical Center in Portland, OR is hiring an Acute Care Pharmacy Technician II for a Full-Time Night Shift (Thursday–Wednesday, 7:30pm–6am, 7 day on/7 day off). The role involves filling and dispensing unit dose and stock medications, triaging orders, and maintaining the automated dispensing system (ADS).

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• Oregon Certified Oregon Pharmacy Technician or Oregon Pharmacy Technician License required upon hire.
• Minimum of one year (> 2080 clock hours) of pharmacy practice in an integrated health system and current PTCB certification OR 2 years (> 4160 hours) hospital pharmacy if not PTCB certified.

Responsibilities

• Fill/dispense unit dose and stock medications from the pharmacy to nursing units and other departments.
• Fill/dispense oral and IV medications.
• Triage patient orders and maintain the integrity of the automated dispensing system (ADS).
