Job summary

Providence Portland Medical Center in Portland, OR is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for the Acute Care team. This full-time night shift operates 7:30pm–6am on a 7-day on/7-day off rotation, Thursday through Wednesday, to fill and dispense unit dose and stock medications to nursing units and ADS.

Required qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, Oregon Pharmacy Technician License or Oregon Technician certification, and 1 year of hospital/health-system experience with PTCB

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• Oregon Pharmacy Technician License or Oregon Certified Technician required.
• Minimum 1 year pharmacy practice in an integrated health system with PTCB certification, or 2 years hospital pharmacy without PTCB.

Responsibilities

• Fill and dispense unit dose and stock medications to nursing units and departments.
• Fill/dispense oral and IV medications and triage orders.
• Maintain the integrity of the automated dispensing system (ADS).
