Job summary

Eli Lilly and Company in Indianapolis is seeking an Operations Maintenance Mechanic to service, repair, and maintain process and utility equipment such as vial washing machines, sterilization tunnels, capping/sealing equipment, filling equipment, conveyors, vision inspection machines, laser marking systems, robotics, and other pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities include improving equipment uptime and line efficiency, diagnosing root causes, performing setup/changeovers,

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of maintenance or manufacturing experience.
• Completion of Post Offer Exam or Work Simulation if applicable.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
• No visa sponsorship for this role.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance expertise to service, repair, and maintain process and utility equipment (e.g., vial washing machines, sterilization tunnels, capping/sealing equipment, filling equipment, conveyors, vision inspection machines, laser marking systems, robotics).
• Understand customer needs and provide strong customer service while working with cross-functional teams.
• Improve equipment uptime and line efficiency by troubleshooting and supporting engineering changes.
• Diagnose root causes quickly and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Document repair actions accurately and be willing to learn other skills as required.
