Job summary

Eli Lilly and Company in Indianapolis seeks a Process Instrumentation Maintenance professional to support equipment uptime, calibration, and reliability. You will collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality Control, Labs, and other groups to perform corrective and preventative maintenance on process instrumentation and provide project support on production and utility equipment.

Responsibilities include installing, setting up and replacing instrumentation, diagnosing electrical problems,

Qualifications

High school diploma/GED.
Associate degree or Technical Trade Certificate in Electrical/Automation/Instrumentation, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 3 Years of Maintenance instrumentation experience.
Completion of Post Offer Exam or Work Simulation, as applicable.
Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; Lilly will not sponsor work authorization or visas.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate a good process aptitude and application of skills in real-world process experiences (e.g., transmitters for pressure, temperature, flow, pH, level).
Install/set-up/replace Instrument/electrical equipment (switches, transmitters, controllers, VFDs).
Diagnose basic electrical problems to effect repairs and restore equipment/systems.
Troubleshoot electrical equipment from 24 VDC to 480 VAC to restore operation.
Operate basic electrical/pneumatic test equipment and meters (e.g., Fluke, oscilloscopes).
Provide Process instrumentation support for equipment qualification.
Document Work Orders accurately in CMMS (Maximo, SAP).
