Job summary

Automation Personnel Services is seeking a Night Shift Extrusion Machine Operator for a company in Cullman, AL. This role offers growth within manufacturing of PEX/piping products and requires hands-on operation with extrusion tools and process parameters.

You'll work 6pm–6am on a rotating 2-on/2-off schedule, with a day shift train-up for 30–100 days. The job emphasizes productivity, quality control, and teamwork; familiarity with hand and power tools and ability to lift 50+ lbs is needed.

Qualifications

• 2 years previous operator experience.
• Analyze production problems and identify improvement opportunities.
• Good communication, able to multitask, detail-oriented, and reliable.
• Well organized, self-driven, willing to work hard, team environment.
• Math test required.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand and power tools, remove and install extrusion components weighing 50+ lbs.
• Adjust and size processing parameters.
• Record material blends and maintain hopper levels.
• Maintain production articles within set parameters and optimize processes.
• Troubleshoot process problems in PEX production.
• Ensure product and process quality meets standards.
