Job summary

Rehau | Water Technologies in Cullman, AL seeks an Extrusion Machine Operator to run extrusion equipment producing PEX pipe, monitor quality, and follow safety protocols in a 12-hour shift. You will read gauges, adjust settings, and document production data while maintaining a safe work environment.

The role demands mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting ability, and proficiency with production software. Team collaboration is important, but independent work is also required to meet quality

Qualifications

• Experience operating extrusion machines or similar manufacturing equipment preferred.
• Ability to stand for 12-hour shifts and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficient with basic computer data entry.
• Team player with attention to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor extrusion machines to produce PEX pipe.
• Set up, adjust, and troubleshoot equipment to minimize downtime.
• Perform hourly quality checks on dimensions, appearance, and other factors.
• Use production software to track progress and document data.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area; work 12-hour shifts.
