Job summary

Masonic Villages of Pennsylvania - Elizabethtown Campus is immediately hiring a Personal Care Aide (PCA). The role provides direct resident care in activities of daily living, observing residents, documenting care, and ensuring safe, timely service in line with Village policies.

This part-time night position (9:45pm–6:00am) starts at $15/hour, with a $2.50 nightly nursing premium and a $1 weekend shift differential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• First Aid training required
• Good written, oral, organizational, and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides care of our residents in a safe, caring, timely and appropriate manner to assist each resident in attaining their highest potential. Assists residents with activities of daily living. Performs any of the procedures included in the NA Training Manual, within the scope of practice and Masonic Village policies and procedures.
• Observes residents and answers call bells in a timely manner to respond to residents' care needs. Reports observed changes, unusual conditions or reactions to supervisor or appropriate discipline in a timely manner. Takes appropriate action as requested or required by the situation.
• Accurately completes, documents, and communicates all resident information and nursing care provided in a timely manner and in accordance to Masonic Village policies and procedures.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living, i.e., bathing, hair care, nail care, and oral care. Provides direct resident care and transports residents to activities and appointments in a timely manner.
