Job summary

Masonic Villages of Pennsylvania - Elizabethtown Campus is hiring a Personal Care Aide (PCA) on a pool/per diem basis. The role involves assisting residents with daily living activities and delivering compassionate, safe care to support residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being.

Starting pay is $15 per hour, with a $2.50 nursing premium for nights and a $1 shift differential for weekends. Training and ongoing education help maintain competency across essential care areas.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• First Aid training required.
• Good written, oral, organizational, and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides care of residents in a safe, caring, timely and appropriate manner; assists with activities of daily living.
• Observes residents and answers call bells; reports observations to supervisor promptly.
• Documents and communicates resident information and nursing care clearly and timely.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living (bathing, hair care, nail care, oral care) and transports residents to activities and appointments.
