Job summary

Masonic Villages of Pennsylvania - Elizabethtown Campus is hiring a Personal Care Aide (PCA) for night shifts (9:45pm–6:00am). Starting pay is $15 per hour, with an additional $2.50 nursing premium for nights and a $1 weekend shift differential.

As a PCA, you will assist residents with daily living activities, observe and respond to needs, document care, and help residents reach their highest potential with compassionate, safe care.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Maintain current competency associated with the DHS Direct Care Staff Education.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• First Aid training required.
• Good written, oral, organizational, and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides care of residents in a safe, caring, timely and appropriate manner to assist each resident in attaining their highest potential.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living and transports residents to activities and appointments.
• Observes residents and responds to call bells in a timely manner; reports observations to supervisor.
• Accurately completes, documents, and communicates all resident information and nursing care provided.
