Job summary

Seattle Children's is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Transport Team at 0.9FTE nights (6PM–6AM). The role involves transporting patients between locations including Main Hospital, Everett, and Federal Way, with relocation assistance available.

The Transport RN provides basic and advanced life support, demonstrates neonatal and pediatric critical care proficiency, and may supervise other team members. Off-campus bases and on-call availability are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years recent critical care transport, pediatric critical care (PICU/CICU) or ED/NICU experience at 6 FTE or greater.
• Current Washington State RN License. ACLS required; BLS for Healthcare Providers required; PALS/PEARS accepted in lieu of BLS; NRP required; trauma course within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care and advanced life support during transport.
• Lead and supervise Transport Team members during shifts.
• Float to Main Campus or off-campus bases as needed.
• Ensure safety and compliance with procedures during transports.
