Job summary

Inova Fairfax Hospital in Northern Virginia seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Pediatric Critical Care team. The RN will support NICU, PICU, PCICU, PIMC, PHOOT, and Peds Med-Surg units, rotating across departments on a full-time night shift from 7 PM to 7:30 AM.

The role emphasizes comprehensive patient assessments, care planning, family engagement, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• BSN or ADN required with plan to obtain BSN within 5 years.
• Current Virginia RN licensure or eligible for licensure.
• 1 year of RN experience; critical care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and interpret data.
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care.
• Support families and coordinate transitions of care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve outcomes.
• Document care activities and pursue ongoing education.

BLS Certification

ACLS within 6 months
