Job summary

Texas Health Resources in Dallas is seeking a Patient Care Tech (PCT) for the Intermediate Care unit. This PRN/Nights role supports nursing staff by providing basic patient care, helping with activities of daily living, and ensuring a safe, clean environment.

Responsibilities include data collection, transfer coordination, and collaborating with the care team to tailor activities to patient needs. Eligible candidates include those with a High School diploma and PCT/EMT training or nursing

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• PCT experience in an acute environment preferred.
• TX CNA or PCT Training Program required upon hire.
• EMT training or military medic experience required upon hire.
• Nursing student status or equivalent allowed on hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care under nursing supervision.
• Assist with activities of daily living and patient transport.
• Document patient information and report significant findings to the nurse.
• Adhere to safety, infection control and patient care standards.
• Collaborate with the care team to meet patient needs.
