Job summary

Baystate Health seeks Patient Care Technicians to work across inpatient departments at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA. Roles include night shifts, per diem options, and rotating weekends. Training and benefits are provided within a large healthcare system.

Required is a high school diploma or GED and BLS CPR certification; PCT/CNA training is preferred. Candidates with 1+ year of patient care experience are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS CPR Certification through the American Heart Association.
• At least one year of patient care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate patient care, assisting with daily activities, mobility, hygiene, and comfort.
• Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, and changes in patient condition.
• Assist with patient safety, treatments, procedures, and specimen collection.
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high-quality care.
