Job summary

Baystate Health is hiring Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) across multiple inpatient departments at Baystate Noble Hospital in Westfield, MA. Roles include nights with various schedules, intended to support nursing teams and patient care. Opportunities span multiple departments with different shifts and per diem options.

Required: High School Diploma or GED and BLS CPR certification. Preferred: 1 year of patient care experience in long-term, specialty, or acute care settings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required or preferred.
• BLS CPR Certification - American Heart Association.
• Preferred: at least one year of patient care experience in long-term, specialty, or acute care settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate patient care, assisting with daily activities, mobility, hygiene, and comfort.
• Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, and changes in patient condition.
• Assist with patient safety, treatments, procedures, and specimen collection.
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high-quality care.
• Contribute to patient care and comfort on a nightly shift.
