Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 1 year related work experience preferred.

• Assist floor staff with transfers to and from transport.
• Transport patients and belongings to assigned departments.
• Assist patients in and out of vehicles and equipment.
• Lift and maneuver patients using proper body mechanics and equipment.
• Transport equipment, specialty carts, and beds to requesting departments.
• Identify patients before transport and verify that patient has an identification band.
• Use technology system for patient and equipment transports.
• Adhere to Geisinger Patient Transport/Nursing Handoff guidelines.
