Job summary

Renown Health is seeking a Patient Transporter for night shifts in Reno, NV. You will move patients and equipment, coordinate with nursing and ancillary teams, and ensure safe, timely transports throughout the facility.

Responsibilities include assisting with transfers to gurneys, wheelchairs, and beds, and placing telemetry monitors as needed. Prior healthcare experience and BLS certification within 30 days are preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English sufficiently to perform job duties safely and effectively.
• Patient/healthcare related experience preferred.
• BLS certification by American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
• Patient mobility course within 90 days of hire.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients and equipment to support patient care and throughput.
• Coordinate with nursing and ancillary teams for safe transport.
• Assist with transferring patients on gurneys, wheelchairs, and beds.
• Place telemetry monitors on patients for remote monitoring as needed.
• Ensure transport safety and adapt to patient age-specific needs.
