Copper Ridge Care Center Applewood Operating Company, LLC is seeking a caregiving support role for the NOC shift (10pm–6am) to assist the Nursing Department and staff with a variety of support functions. The position emphasizes maintaining resident rooms, reporting changes in condition, and following safety and confidentiality policies.

The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work through night hours while coordinating with nurses and other staff to ensure quality

Qualifikationen

• Must possess, as a minimum, an 8th grade education.

Aufgaben

• Familiarize with the facility’s administrative structure as introduced in the pre-training orientation session.
• Report to the charge nurse all accidents/incidents observed during the shift.
• Report changes in the resident’s condition to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse as soon as practical.
• Answer phone (especially during mealtimes).
• Assist with errands for residents/staff.
• Assist with secretarial tasks at the nursing station as requested.
• Maintain orderly resident rooms and common areas.
• Follow established policies concerning exposure to blood/body fluids.
• Ensure residents who are unable to call for help are checked frequently.
• Answer call bells promptly and report needs to CNA/Nurse.
• Make rounds assisting residents by adjusting comfort items and checking call bells.
• Turn medications found in residents’ rooms over to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse.
• Transport residents to & from meals/activities.
• Provide residents with Reality Orientations as instructed.
• Pass linen and prepare beds; manage resident belongings.
• Identify residents before serving meals and manage supplies as needed.
• Clean and store equipment after use.
• Inform Nurse Supervisor of changes in residents’ condition for care planning.
• Observe safety precautions and maintain confidentiality.
