Job summary

Red Oak Health & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a compassionate Certified Nurse Assistant for nighttime shifts to support patients’ safety, comfort, and daily living activities. You will work closely with nursing staff to monitor conditions and respond to changes, ensuring high-quality care throughout the night.

The role requires CNA certification, a HS diploma, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Current and valid CNA certification as required by the state.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Physical ability to perform patient care tasks including lifting and moving patients.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding during the night shift.
• Monitor and record vital signs, report changes to nursing staff promptly.
• Ensure patient safety by checking on patients, preventing falls, and maintaining a clean environment.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients with compassion.
• Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare team members to implement care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities and observations in line with regulations.
• Assist with the preparation and transfer of patients for diagnostic tests during the night shift.
