Job summary

R1 RCM is hiring a Customer Service Representative in Patient Registration at Ascension All Saints Hospital, Spring Street. This part-time night shift runs Monday through Friday from 10:30 pm to 6:30 am, with holidays based on department needs.

You will help patients navigate the registration process, answer questions with confidence and compassion, and gather accurate information quickly in a fast-paced environment. Training is provided to start a healthcare career.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Strong customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to pass background check, drug test, and vaccination requirements.

Responsibilities

• Work across multiple computer systems to register patients efficiently
• Answer phones and gather information quickly and accurately
• Assist patients who may be ill, anxious, or confused
• Navigate diverse insurance plans and coverage details (with training!)
• Adapt to interruptions from clinical teams during urgent care situations
• Build rapport and ease patient concerns in real time
