Christiana Care Health Services, Inc. is seeking a Patient Registrar II in the Emergency Department (11p-7:30a, every other weekend and holiday). You will collect demographic and insurance data, verify eligibility, and register patients using the EMR system while ensuring confidentiality and high-quality customer service.

The role emphasizes accurate data entry, patient contact, and collaboration with ED staff to support timely and compliant billing and care delivery.

Competenze

• Two years' experience in a medical, financial, or customers service environment.
• In a patient care environment is preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.

Mansioni

• Greet all customers, patients, family members and visitors in a caring and professional manner.
• Collect and enter accurate demographic and insurance information for registration.
• Verify insurance eligibility and determine guarantor payments at the time of service.
• Register patients using the EMR system and ensure proper document imaging.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and provide excellent customer service.
