Job summary

Physicians Regional Healthcare System in Naples, FL is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the Urology department. This full-time night position supports RNs and LPNs, assists with activities of daily living, and helps maintain a safe, patient-centered environment.

The ideal candidate has 0–2 years acute care experience or is enrolled in a nursing program, is BCLS certified within 90 days, and exhibits strong teamwork and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in an acute care setting or currently enrolled in a Nursing program preferred

Responsibilities

• Assists nursing staff in delivering care, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
• Collects and records patient data (vital signs, height, weight, intake/output) and reports to RN/LPN/LVN.
• Supports patients with meals, bathing, oral care, grooming, and mobility aids.
• Assists with patient positioning and ambulation using walkers, canes, or wheelchairs.
• Performs urine/stool collection and blood glucose monitoring; documents results.
