Job summary

NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn is seeking a Patient Care Technician/Senior Nursing Attendant on Unit 3600 for the Night Shift. Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Graduate of a PCT program with hospital experience or CNA with CPR and PCT plan.
• BLS/Heartsaver CPR/AED certification required on entry.
• PCT online program completion within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist the nurse in patient care tasks and unit support.
• Maintain patient privacy, dignity, and rights.
• Participate in data collection for quality/performance improvement.
• Support admission, transfer and discharge activities per unit procedures.
• Respond to patient requests and ensure safety and comfort.
